My car decided to have a pretty major breakdown last week. Luckily I was able to drive it home without it falling apart. Mike said it was amazing that the drive shaft didn't fall out on the freeway.
So we decided that it is time to buy a new car. My car is only "39" years old. But it is starting to have some major issues. So I have finally resigned myself to a new one.
We went looking on Saturday and the first car we looked at was a 2006 Mustang, it was a beautiful blue, had a spoiler, everything that I am lusting for in a car!!! But the interior is terrible. It is not comfortable and the backseat is a joke, it is good for nothing, no one could possibly ride back there, your head would be touching the back window glass, if you were able to get in there in the first place. So I very sadly had to stop even considering a new Mustang to replace my 1967 one. I was depressed all weekend about this.
So now we have to find a car that fits all our critia. Comfort and gas mileage are high on the list. We will probably end up with a Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord. I just have to get used to the idea of not driving a {cool} car. Maybe if I get a spoiler on the back it won't be such a grandma car to me! LOL Don't mean to offend anyone, but after having driven a Mustang for so long now, all sedans are grandma cars to me!
Well, I guess I can at least be happy knowing we will keep my car, so I can drive a cool car whenever I want! I plan on enjoying the next few months driving it while we are looking for a new one.

Awww, sorry to hear about your car, Bobbie. I know how much you love it. But at least you're not getting rid of it. =)
Oh, that's too bad Bobbie but at least you do still get to keep it. Good luck with the car shopping!
