Had a super fantastic day!

I had a really good day today. We got our loan for a new car pre approved. So now we just need to find the car I want. And Mike and I won $80 in a SuperBowl pool. He paid the $3.00 and I picked the squares. We got the big payout for having the right numbers for the final score of the game. So today was super fantastic day!

Boy I sure needed one after last week, it was not so good. On Thursday Heather was in a car accident, she pulled out in front of a truck and it messed up the passenger side of her car. Thank God, she was not hurt. Hopefully, this will make her more careful when she is driving. So I spent quite a bit of Friday on the phone trying to figure out if we needed to turn it into our insurance or not. The truck owner gave us an estimate of $2000 to fix his truck. After I heard that I said we would be turning it over to our insurance. So they will be dealing with it from now on.

Then on Saturday we went new car looking. Mostly it was okay, but later after getting home I got a call from the Toyota dealership's internet sales manager. He was calling to give me a price from Costco's auto program. Once he did that I said thank you we will call you if we are interested. He didn't take that as a goodby and kept trying to sell me a car, so I hung up on him. Then Sunday the general manager of the dealership called and got Mike. He told him exactly what we thought of his car salesmen. We have decided to buy a Toyota Camry, but may not buy from the local dealer, we may drive to Grants Pass, which is only 30 miles away.

So this week is starting out much better than last week.

OMG! I'm so glad Heather is ok. (BIG hugs) She definitely seems like a smart girl, I had one of those myself...she'll learn I'm sure, I have faith :)
But we've really went thru the ringer with my step-son as far as driving & accidents. what a nightmare! glad those days are over & he's out on his own now.
Hope you find the perfect car girl!
