This is a view from the deck of the cabin where we were at. This is Lake Billy Chinook in Eastern Oregon, the lake is a lot larger than this. It has 3 sections and is huge. The mountain is Mount Hood.
Same view as above, but this was a gorgeous sunset the first night we were there. Everything had a rosy pink tinge to it, absolutely beautiful.
This is down at the lake, Mike's Uncle has boats for everyone to use. This is most of the teenagers that were there, soaking up the sun and swimming. A few adults too. The water did feel good, it was very hot and the resort is off the grid, so no A/C all weekend. I even went moonlight swimming one night to cool off.
Heather and her favorite second cousin. They really enjoyed seeing each other, it had been 2 years since the last family reunion. 
We had a great time visiting with everyone. We found out that another branch of family will be having a reunion in Portland the same weekend we will be there, so we will be going to that one also. Should be fun.
This month has been extremely busy. We still have a retirement party to go to on Friday, and somehow I "volunteered" to take pictures. Then on Monday, we will be going to Britt (a local concert series) and seeing Carrie Underwood. We have free tickets for all three of us. Really looking forward to that.
Looks like August is going to be just as busy. We will be on vacation and then 2 weeks later a camping trip with our Mustang Club. And somewhere in there our neighbor's daughter is getting married. WHEW! I'm already tired just typing it all. LOL

glad you had a wonderful time. the pictures are beautiful!!!! love the sunset one, I had to show Samantha because when we were driving home from our "trip" (because I refuse to say vacation! lol) we saw a nice sunset with pink it but near as beautiful as yours. I love sunsets :)
