Christmas in July

Saturday I spent most of the day working on class projects from a cyber crop at Create My Keepsake. I had a great time. There were 7 projects and I completed them all. I will be making more of these projects. They were fun and pretty easy too. Great gift ideas. Below are all my projects for the day. Oh and there will be drawings for prizes at the end of the day. How great is that, complete some fun projects and maybe win a prize. Thanks Rebecca and all the designers at CMK for such a fun day!!!!


Get Poppin: A quick and easy snack or small gift box.

Light up the Holidays: A glass jar candle with a rub on and some ribbon. From plain to elegant in minutes. Great gift idea!

Ornament Extravaganza: Ornament frames that I made from chipboard. These will be small gifts for the grandparents, and one for my tree.

Spell it Out: Altered letters that I purchased at Michaels. This is my favorite project of the day. I love how it turned out. Now I want to alter more letters! I have been intimidated by this type of project. Now I feel much more confident. Can't wait to try altering other stuff using this technique.

Christmas Cookies: An old butter cookie tin that is altered into a new and fun cookie tin to fill for Christmas. This is a great way to make a personalized gift that looks great and doesn't cost you a fortune. This will make a great gift for my co-workers.

Box it Up: I found the pattern for this gable box online. I like how it turned out. This will be perfect for little gifts.

You've been Tagged: Just a quick tag. It turned out nothing like the example. I have a hard time with tags. Need to work on making them more interesting.
