My husband is the gardner in our family.
All the gorgeous flowers in our yard are my husband's work. I have a black thumb. I can kill a plant almost as fast as I can plant it.
So my contribution to our flowers is helping to pick them out, and taking pictures of them. They are all so pretty, I just can't stop taking pictures. I went out to take a few Sunday and took 33!
This is one of our new roses we planted last year. It is beautiful and has a great smell. It is called Honey Perfume, I think a very fitting name for it.

This is gorgeous....I can totally relate to this post..I am the same way.
Is the rose a Jackson and Perkins? It's beautiful. It reminds me a little of the peace roses that Grandpa Shaw had in his front yard on Chestnut St. in Medford.
It is a Jackson and Perkins rose, it is a lot more apricot orangey colored than a Peace rose. We planted one of those this year, but it is not blooming yet.
Your photography is WONDERFUL! That rose is just gorgeous!
flowers make great fun for photographers!
I'm right there with ya! I kill everything!!! Beautiful flower!!
That is so pretty! I'm just loving your great photography these days...GF :)
Wow, breathtaking! I hear ya on the black thumb. The girls brought me home a potted flower from church on Mother's DAy and my hubby's response was "Let's see how long it takes Momma to kill it!"
How pretty! I can relate too.. my husband always says oh she's about to commit a 187.. which is the police code for murder..when he sees me with a plant.. they die on me a lot.. lol
