After seeing everyone's great headers, I just had to try it too. So I decided to create a quick header with one of my multiple flower pictures from my yard. I changed it to a watercolor look for a more artistic feel. I am liking the new look. Now to get my profile pic changed.
I see that Teacher Appreciation Day? Week?, not sure which one it is, is coming up soon. Now that Heather is in High School I really don't have much contact with her teachers. To be honest I have not met any of them this year. I have met, and really like her counseler. I do miss the days when I could volunteer in the classroom and got to meet and know her teacher and the kids in class.
My favorite teacher was Mrs. Shute, my high school French teacher. She always made class fun, I learned many things from her. She not only taught me some French, but also gave me many opportunities to grow and learn. I became the President of our French Club because of her. I was so shy in school that I would never have done this without her encourgement. I still send her a Christmas card every year and get one back.
