As I was leaving the grocery store yesterday, a young teenage box boy said "Have a nice day Ma'am" Okay, when did I become a ma'am?
When I hear that I think of older people, not someone my age. But in thinking about it, I do remember when I was a teenager, that anyone over 25 was ancient. Since I am long past that, I'm sure that I look old to teenagers. But it just isn't fair. I don't feel old.

I've had this happen..its awful. lol..its like you realize wait.. when did THAT happen. How did you get so young kid and when did I get this old..
I kinda know what ya mean...I guess I get it quite often...I must be really old! lol...
nah, really as long as they are polite, it doesn't bother me. So many aren't these days. at my grocery store there is a man who bags & he's probably old enough to be my dad or close to it...calls me ma'am every time, he does for everyone. I think it's just his way of being nice & polite.
so try not to take it too personally :D
